Today, we have been to a lot of scenery spots in Boston that is an amazing trip. Such as King’s Chapel, Park Street Church, the Old South Meeting House, and Paul Revere’s House, etc. All of student have assignment; introduction to Park Street Church is my assignment.
The Park Street Church is located at the corner of Park and Tremont Street, and it has 217 ft, we can find it easily. This church have a long history that was built is found in 1809, and it was designed by Peter Banner. There are many of historic event happened in this church. For example, William Lloyd Garrison who is a famous abolitionist started his first important anti-slavery lecture in the Park Street Church on July 4, 1829; furthermore, America’s oldest radio organization had been set up in the Park Street Church in 1923. Nowadays, it already becomes a landmark in Boston; moreover, there are about 50,000 visitors to visit the Park Street Church each summer to learn and to feel old civilization.
In conclusion, we have known a great many of civilization of Boston from this trip; moreover we have visited a lot of scenic spots especially the Park Street Church, they looks like historical books, we can find the Boston in the past from it.
